Tips to change the Size of Paper to the Custom Size in Microsoft Word
The sizes and types of paper are set by the printer during the setup. The paper settings are then added by the user to the main page of setup. These sections will provide instructions on how to modify the settings for specific sizes or types.
Create a custom-designed paper width or enter it on the setup page of the manufacturer. Create a custom height using your printer driver.o If the custom paper’s height is greater than 432 mm (17in) you should utilize the back output tray instead of the standard printer tray.o In the Print dialog box, select “Fit To” and then move the tray to the exact position in which you would like your custom paper to be printed.
o To adjust the width of your customized paper Click the tab for printing setup. Click “IKBS” under the section titled “Printer Properties”. In the General section under “IKBS Settings,”” click ” slider” and move the sliders to the paper style com left until you see ” Invalid Setup Value?” Click “OK” if you see “Invalid Setup Value?”
o To change the width of the custom size Return to the Printing Setup tab and click “IKBS.” Click “slider” in the General section. Move the sliders to your left until you see “Invalid Setup Value?” Click ” slider” in the General section. Move the sliders to the left until you see ” Invalid Setup Value”
Use the arrow keys to move the sliders to the right until you see “Change Custom Paper Widths.” If you hold down the shift key before pressing the enter button, the number of pages you can change is automatically set. To reverse the change, simply press the return key. You can make changes to other pages by pressing the return key. With the arrow keys, you can move the sliders to either the left or right.
To alter the sheet and tray sizes to change the sizes of the tray and sheet, you must first open the Printing Setup. Under “Printers and Paper: Custom Paper Sizes,” select the appropriate paper sizes for your printer. Then under “Trays and Sheets: Auto Tray Switch Function,” select the setting that displays the automatic tray switch function. When you print the next time a document the printer driver will automatically alter the size of the tray and sheet to meet the specifications of your custom printing.
If you want to change the size of the page you want to print first, visit the Printing Setup and then click “page size.” In the drop-down menu, choose the desired size. Select “stretch” to stretch the page before printing. In other cases, the current custom-size will be used. You can change the size by selecting “set new size” from the pull-down menu.
o To print documents in black and white make sure you set the custom paper sizes to black and white in the Printing Setup. Then, select “print.” The new size will be printed on the document page. To alter the color, choose the color you would like to use and then select it in the same drop-down menu that you select for the custom size of the paper.
o Set the desired size if the paper length exceeds 17 inches (430 mm). If you’re using a non-printer driver, verify the tray height. In the pull-down menu, choose “auto tray Height”. In this scenario, the printer driver will determine the proper height according to the display height. If this option isn’t available the maximum height of the tray will be utilized.
o To increase the thickness of your tray, choose “set depth to default”. This option is only accessible to the tray that is not a printer. Once you have selected the depth that you want, the maximum depth will be used. If your document is printed on thicker paper, such asight or bond paper, you might not need to increase the depth over the 297 mm.
If you print documents, you must always open the menu for files by clicking the “file” icon instead of the “Print” button. Many printers allow you to open the file menu by clicking the “print” button instead of the ” Printing” button. Some printers will require that you click on the “print button” before you can change the size to your specifications. You can also access the menu for files by clicking the “print” button rather than the “Printing” button.
When you have finished creating the paper size you want then press the “ok” button on the PRINTS & FOLDS screen. The custom paper size will be added to the document. The entire process will take only several seconds. If there are any errors, you should see an error message pop up, or you can enter your new password. If there is no error message, the custom-sized paper size was used successfully.
